
Spain Q3 2025: Online Gambling GGR Hits €405M, Up 16.5% Year-on-Year
Spain's Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ) has published its Q3 2025 market report, revealing gross gaming revenue (GGR) of €405.36 million for July-September 2025. While this represents a slight quarterly decline of 1.35%, year-on-year growth remains robust at 16.49%.
Market Performance by SegmentCasino continues to dominate the Spanish online market, generating €230.98 million (56.98% of total GGR) with impressive 22.93% annual growth. Slot machines led the charge with 27.78% year-on-year increase.
Sports betting contributed €149.50 million (36.88% share) but experienced a notable 13.02% quarterly decline. The data reveals a significant shift in betting behavior:

Bingo continues its decline, generating just €3.18 million with drops of 5.92% quarterly and 13.48% annually.
Marketing Spend and Player ActivityOperators spent €154.84 million on marketing, down 6% from Q2 but up 17.89% year-on-year. The breakdown shows:
