ComeOn Casino Fined €750,000 for Duty of Care Failures

The Kansspelautoriteit (Ksa) has imposed a €750,000 fine on Tulipa Ent Limited, the operator behind the ComeOn brand in the Netherlands, for inadequate compliance with duty of care obligations between December 2023 and September 2024.

"We have therefore conducted additional investigations at various operators, resulting in the duty of care fines now being made public."

Groothuizen emphasized the importance of protecting vulnerable groups: "Operators absolutely cannot drop the ball on something as essential as duty of care, especially when it concerns vulnerable target groups such as young adults."

The penalty signals the Dutch regulator's continued focus on player protection compliance, particularly regarding younger players who may be more susceptible to gambling-related harm.
