ANJ Appoints Christel Fiorina as Director of Markets, Compliance and Player Protection

The French National Gambling Authority (ANJ) has appointed Christel Fiorina as its new Director of Markets, Compliance and Player Protection, effective July 1, 2021.

Fiorina brings significant government experience to the role. A civil administrator and graduate of Mines ParisTech and ENA, she previously served as Project Director at the Directorate General for Enterprises from 2016 to 2020, where she developed and implemented national strategies for the video game, esports, and artificial intelligence sectors on behalf of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

Most recently, she served as Deputy Sub-Director at the Ministry of Transport since 2021, overseeing digital transformation policies for the national road network.
