The gaming account is automatically suspended if the player has not submitted a valid front-and-back copy of an identity document within 3 days of registration. This is a very short timeframe.
- Dormant account funds forfeited to the Treasury after 3 years
If no operations are recorded on the gaming account for 3 years, the account becomes 'Dormant' and any remaining balance is transferred to the Italian Treasury (Erario). Players must actively withdraw within this period.
- PokerStars can unilaterally close accounts with only 15 days notice
PokerStars reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the contract at any time and at its own discretion, with only 15 days prior notice to the player. While the balance is made available for withdrawal, the broad discretion is concerning.
- Broad bonus abuse and anti-fraud clauses with sole discretion
PokerStars reserves the right at its 'sole and unquestionable judgment' (insindacabile giudizio) to deny bonuses. Bonuses denied for collusion, multiple registrations (e.g., same IP address), cross-betting, or minimal-risk bets to meet requirements. Vague criteria could affect legitimate players.
